Tips for Parents           

• Ask your child, "Do you like to sing?  What is your favorite song? If you could make up a song what would it be about?"
• Encourage your child to act out the words, from kittens romping to chasing butterflies.
• Have some fun with introducing island/Latin dancing moves to complement this Caribbean sound.
• Emphasize the theme of uniqueness and make up your own movements to the song.
• Musical Instruments - Use recycled bottles, coffee cans and other objects to create any musical instruments.  Decorate the "instruments" and create unique styles of music.

• Fun Songs - Encourage your child to create their own song, performed each time they're cleaning their room, coming to dinner, etc.  Make up funny family songs that can be sung regularly during daily routines will create lasting memories.
