Tips for Parents 

• Look on the internet for ASL signs for "what," "when," "who," "where," "why" and sign and shrug your shoulders with your child as you sing the words.
• Gather a ball, star, bat and leaf (or pictures of each object).  When the object "goes missing," take turns hiding that item behind your back.
• Hide and Seek - Place the objects mentioned in the song (star, leaf, etc.) on a tray and hide each item in turn as your child closes their eyes. Expand the song by selecting other objects in your home to hide and sing Ask Me for a limitless list of items.
• Clue - Place a mystery object in a bag and let your child ask questions to identify the object.
• Use this song as a fun and easy activity for practicing question comprehension in the car.  Follow up with some questions that are pertinent to the child.
